reservoirs.earth is designed to minimise personal-data collection. We do not require registration or accounts. The personal data potentially processed is:

• ·Server access logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user-agent, referrer. Retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse-detection purposes.
• ·Email correspondence: if you write to info@reservoirs.earth, we process the content of your message and your email address solely to respond.
• ·Analytics (if enabled): aggregated, anonymised page-view counts via a privacy-preserving analytics provider that does not set tracking cookies (e.g. Plausible, Umami or similar). No personal profiling.

We do not collect names, postal addresses, payment data, biometric data, location beyond IP-level country, or any special-category personal data.

• ·Legitimate interest: for server logs (security and basic operation) and privacy-preserving analytics (improving the site).
• ·Consent: if and when we add any non-essential cookie or third-party embed, we will collect explicit prior consent.
• ·Performance of contract / response to inquiry: for emails you send us.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for marketing. Limited categories of recipients may process data on our behalf:

• ·Hosting provider: processes server logs and traffic as a normal part of web hosting.
• ·Email provider: processes incoming emails to info@reservoirs.earth.
• ·Analytics provider: processes anonymised page-view events.

All processors are bound by data-processing agreements where required by GDPR.

Where any processor is located outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another transfer mechanism recognised by GDPR Article 46.

Server logs: up to 90 days. Email correspondence: as long as needed to resolve the matter, then deleted within 12 months unless legally required to retain. Analytics data: aggregated, no individual records.

If you are a data subject under GDPR or equivalent legislation, you have the right to:

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on server logs, and minimisation of data collected. No internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.

The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at this URL with the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
